The Portuguese government has denied reports that their Golden Residence Permit Program (GRPP) has been frozen, saying that it is being amended to make it even more attractive for investors. Earlier, reports had suggested that the residency-by-investment scheme was halted due to a scandal relating to the issuing of the permits.
