Australia’s revised Significant Investor Visa (SIV), which was modified to exclude bonds as an acceptable form of investment, has received mixed reactions from rich investors. Experts believe that the new rules will cut back on the flow of investments from potential foreign investors. The SIV grants foreign investors a four year Australian residency in exchange for a minimum investment of $5 million.
