Wealthy Foreigners Gain Easy Access to Europe Through Portugal

Portugal’s government is set to lower the requirements for its Golden Visa scheme, with a new rule allowing an investment of €350,000 in the refurbishment of old buildings, art projects or science projects to be sufficient for a residence permit. Investment in underdeveloped regions gets a further discount of 20%.
