US senators have introduced legislation to renew the EB-5 regional center program that is set to expire in September. The American Job Creation and Investment Promotion Reform Act would renew the EB-5 program for another five years, while also providing investors with greater protections, and giving US authorities greater powers to terminate regional center programs or visas when there is fraud or criminal activity.
