Employers in Labrador Seek Exemption from New TFW Rules

Business owners in Happy Valley-Goose Bay are appealing to the federal government for an exemption from the ban on hiring temporary foreign workers. Employers estimate unemployment in the town to be just 2%, and say they’re struggling to find people to work.
