Antigua Attracts EC$100 Million from 194 Investment Immigration Applicants in 2015

Antigua has issued over 800 passports to investment immigrants since the inception of its Antigua Citizenship by Investment program. Between June and December 2015, the program received 194 applications and over 300 passports were granted to successful applicants and their family members.

Chinese citizens topped the list of successful applicants with 71 investment immigration applications being approved by Antigua. Other countries where the CBI program was popular included Syria with 17 applications, India- 9, Libya and Italy-8 each, Lebanon and Pakistan-7 each, and the USA, France, and Bangladesh with 5 applications each.

Antigua also received around 45 applications from 26 other nations. While the government has not released data related to total value of investments by the National Development Fund, analysis of the applications indicates that the country might have received around EC$100 million in 2015.
