The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program<\/a>\u00a0(SINP) draw saw 265 invitations issued with scores ranging from 80 to 135 points. The top scoring candidates are invited to submit an application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Establishment Plan confirming figures in expression of interest, and including at least one third ownership of a company in Saskatchewan, unless investment is $1 million or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to be active in day-to-day management of business.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of two or more jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents if the business is located in Regina or Saskatoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SINP website says: \u201cPlease note that the SINP reserves the right to have Business Establishment Plans assessed by professional third parties identified by the government of Saskatchewan. The stream opened on January 10, and closed again on January 11 after all the spaces were filled.<\/p>\n<p>The province\u2019s 2018 limit for the stream is 2,600 applications, with the category set to be opened and closed throughout the year so that processing times can be managed.<\/p>\n<p>The category is aimed at skilled workers wishing to live and work in Saskatchewan, have a profile in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/express-entry-immigration-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Canada Express Entry<\/a>\u00a0Pool and meet specific criteria.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must pay a non-refundable $300 fee on submitting their application.<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility: International Skilled Worker \u2013 Saskatchewan Express Entry<\/p>\n<p>Candidates from outside Canada, or with legal status in Canada, qualify for this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan immigration<\/a>\u00a0category, provided they are not a refugee claimant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additionally, candidates must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a profile in the Canada Express Entry Pool and a job seeker validation code.<\/li>\n<li>Score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the\u00a0SINP grid.<\/li>\n<li>Provide valid language test results from a designated testing agency. The results should match what you declared in your Express Entry profile.<\/li>\n<li>Have completed at least one year of post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship that\u2019s comparable to the Canadian education system. You should have earned a diploma, certificate or degree.<\/li>\n<li>Have at least one of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>One year of work experience in the past 10 years in a skilled profession (non-trades);<\/li>\n<li>Two years of work experience in a skilled trade in the past five years; or<\/li>\n<li>One year of work experience in Canada in the past three years (trades and non-trades).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Have work experience in a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A or B considered in demand in Saskatchewan.<\/li>\n<li>Prove you are eligible for a license in Saskatchewan, where your profession is regulated, or a skilled trade. For skilled trades, a certificate is required from the\u00a0Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission.<\/li>\n<li>Have proof of settlement funds and a\u00a0settlement
