The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program<\/a> (SINP) draw saw 98 invitations issued with scores ranging from 80 to 145 points.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Stream: July 19 Draw<\/h3>\n<table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">Number of Invitations Issued<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\">98<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">Average EOI Score<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\">100<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">Highest EOI Score<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\">145<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">Lowest EOI Score<\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\">80<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskatchewan.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">https:\/\/www.saskatchewan.ca<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>A further draw is planned for January 17, 2018, so there will be another opportunity for those who missed the latest selection.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan immigration<\/a>\u00a0Entrepreneur stream is a three-stage process:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Expression of interest<\/li>\n<li>Invitation to submit application<\/li>\n<li>Nomination<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The expression of interest must meet the following minimum entry requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum net worth of $500,000 legally acquired.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years of entrepreneurial or relevant management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Investment of at least $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon, or $200,000 is any other Saskatchewan area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates enter a pool where they receive a score. The top scoring candidates are invited to submit an application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Establishment Plan confirming figures in expression of interest, and including at least one third ownership of a company in Saskatchewan, unless investment is $1 million or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to be active in day-to-day management of business.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of two or more jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents if the business is located in Regina or Saskatoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SINP website says: \u201cPlease note that the SINP reserves the right to have Business Establishment Plans assessed by professional third parties identified by the government of Saskatchewan. The assessment conducted by third parties will focus on the preparation and due diligence conducted by the applicant in preparing their proposed business plan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Saskatchewan opened it\u2019s popular Canada Express Entry category on October 26, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The International Skilled Worker \u2013 Saskatchewan Express Entry stream accepted 1,000 applications and closed within 36 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The category is aimed at skilled workers wishing to live and work in Saskatchewan, have a profile in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/express-entry-immigration-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Canada Express Entry<\/a>\u00a0Pool and meet specific criteria.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Eligibility: International Skilled Worker \u2013 Saskatchewan Express Entry<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates from outside Canada, or with legal status in Canada, qualify for this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan immigration<\/a> category, provided they are not a refugee claimant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additionally, candidates must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a profile in the Canada Express Entry Pool and a job seeker validation code.<\/li>\n<li>Score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the\u00a0SINP grid.<\/li>\n<li>Provide valid language test results from a designated testing agency. The results should match what you declared in your Express Entry profile.<\/li>\n<li>Have completed at least one year of post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship that\u2019s comparable to the Canadian education system. You should have earned a diploma, certificate or degree.<\/li>\n<li>Have at least one of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>One year of work experience in the past 10 years in a skilled profession (non-trades);<\/li>\n<li>Two years of work experience in a skilled trade in the past five years; or<\/li>\n<li>One year of work experience in Canada in the past three years (trades and non-trades).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Have work experience in a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A or B considered in demand in Saskatchewan.<\/li>\n<li>Prove you are eligible for a license in Saskatchewan, where your profession is regulated, or a skilled trade.
