{"id":9390,"date":"2017-07-17T16:20:22","date_gmt":"2017-07-17T16:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.investmentimmigration.com\/?p=9390"},"modified":"2019-02-12T13:59:59","modified_gmt":"2019-02-12T18:59:59","slug":"saskatchewan-conduct-entrepreneur-immigration-draw-wednesday-july-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.investmentimmigration.com\/saskatchewan-conduct-entrepreneur-immigration-draw-wednesday-july-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Saskatchewan To Conduct Entrepreneur Immigration Draw On Wednesday, July 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Saskatchewan immigration office will conduct the latest draw of the province\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/#entrepreneurs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Entrepreneur stream<\/a> on Wednesday, July 19.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-36162 aligncenter\" title=\"Saskatchewan To Conduct Entrepreneur Immigration Draw On Wednesday, July 17\" src=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/building-Saskatchewan-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Saskatchewan To Conduct Entrepreneur Immigration Draw On Wednesday, July 17\" width=\"256\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Potential business immigration candidates are advised to get their expressions of interest in urgently if they wish to be considered in this draw.<\/p>\n<p>The previous Entrepreneur stream draw took place on May 24, 2017, although the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program<\/a> (SINP) does not publish figures on how many candidates were invited to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Draws are also planned for October 18, 2017 and January 17, 2018, so there will be more opportunities for those who miss this deadline.<\/p>\n<h3>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan immigration<\/a>\u00a0Entrepreneur stream is a three-stage process:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Expression of interest<\/li>\n<li>Invitation to submit application<\/li>\n<li>Nomination<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>The expression of interest must meet the following minimum entry requirements:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum net worth of $500,000 legally acquired.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years of entrepreneurial or relevant management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Investment of at least $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon, or $200,000 is any other Saskatchewan area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates enter a pool where they receive a score. The top scoring candidates are invited to submit an application.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Establishment Plan confirming figures in expression of interest, and including at least one third ownership of a company in Saskatchewan, unless investment is $1 million or higher.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to be active in day-to-day management of business.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of two or more jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents if the business is located in Regina or Saskatoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The SINP website says: \u201cPlease note that the SINP reserves the right to have Business Establishment Plans assessed by professional third parties identified by the government of Saskatchewan.
