Ireland has approved 130 applicants for its immigrant investor programme since it was introduced in 2012.<\/p>\n

Of the 450 applications received, 273 of them came between July and November 2016, when the investment threshold was temporarily halved from \u20ac1 million to \u20ac500,000. The \u20ac1 million threshold has since been restored.
\nOf those 273 applications, 23 were approved, compared with 65 in 2015.<\/p>\n
