Many applicants for the citizenship and residence programs are attracted by the freedom to travel to the UK, which could disappear when `Brexit` finally happens.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Malta Residence Investor Program: Tax Summary<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.investmentimmigration.com\/guide-malta-investor-programs-progressive-tax-policy\/\">Progressive tax rates<\/a>\u00a0ranging from 0% to 35% based on the annual income of the resident<\/li>\n<li>No tax on foreign capital gains and unremitted foreign income<\/li>\n<li>No minimum annual tax liability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There was a suggestion the heads of potential investors would be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investmentimmigration.com\/investors-looking-away-europe\/\">turned to the Caribbean<\/a>, where several of the programs come with the right of free UK travel regardless of EU membership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For its part, Malta now has funds worth \u20ac94 million and \u20ac40 million.
