Entrepreneur Stream Draw To Happen Thursday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A new draw through Saskatchewan\u2019s popular Entrepreneur Stream will take place on Thursday, March 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The draw will be the second of 2020, and the second since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investmentimmigration.com\/canada-investment-immigration-programs\/\">Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a> (SINP) changed the way it selects Entrepreneur Stream candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first draw of 2020 took place on January 7 and saw 42 invitations issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected candidates averaged a score of 120 points in the Expression of Interest system, with a low score of 115 points and a high of 145.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those invited who scored 115 points needed Canadian Language Benchmark level four or higher to qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Stream 2020 Draws<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure introduced in December 2019, Saskatchewan now prioritizes three selection factors to separate candidates with the same score on the Entrepreneur stream points grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three factors, in order of priority, are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Official language ability.<\/li><li>Those with businesses planned for a key economic sector.<\/li><li>Completion of an exploratory href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan immigration<\/a>&nbsp;Entrepreneur stream is a three-stage process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Expression of interest<\/li><li>Invitation to submit application<\/li><li>Nomination<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The expression of interest must meet the following minimum entry requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Minimum net worth of $500,000 legally acquired.<\/li><li>Minimum of three years of entrepreneurial or relevant management experience.<\/li><li>Investment of at least $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon, or $200,000 in any other Saskatchewan area.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates enter a pool where they receive a score. The top-scoring candidates are invited to submit an application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Business Establishment Plan confirming figures in expression of interest, and including at least one third ownership of a company in Saskatchewan, unless investment is $1 million or higher.<\/li><li>Commitment to be active in day-to-day management of business.<\/li><li>Creation of two or more jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents if the business is located in Regina or Saskatoon.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/saskatchewan-launches-new-international-graduate-entrepreneur-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saskatchewan launched a new International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream<\/a> in December, aimed at international students graduating from Saskatchewan institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The stream works on a four-stage process, where candidates submit an Expression of Interest, receive an Invitation to Apply, establish their business while on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigration.ca\/post-graduation-work-permit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Post-Graduation Work Permit<\/a> and are then nominated for permanent residence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A new draw through Saskatchewan\u2019s popular Entrepreneur Stream will take place on Thursday, March 5.
