Prince Edward Island immigration<\/a> will conduct its final business immigration draw of the year through the province\u2019s Expression of Interest system on Thursday, December 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The draw will target skilled worker and entrepreneur immigration candidates through the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program\u2019s Labour Impact, Express Entry and Business Impact categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEI launched its Expression of Interest system<\/a> at the start of 2018 and has made monthly draws<\/a> ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 11 draws so far in 2019, PEI has invited 1,516 candidates, including 1,329 through the Labour Impact\/Express Entry streams and 182 through the Business Impact stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEI issued a total of 1,446 invites during 2018, the first year it operated an Expression of Interest system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of these, 1,240 went to Labour Impact and Express Entry candidates, with the remaining 206 going to Business Impact candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The largest draw took place on October 18, 2018, when 297 candidates were invited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prince Edward Island Express Entry Stream<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PEI\u2019s Express Entry category operates by considering candidates already in the federal Express Entry Pool<\/a> for a provincial nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Such a nomination adds 600 points to a candidate\u2019s Comprehensive Ranking System<\/a> (CRS) score and effectively guarantees an Invitation to Apply<\/a> (ITA) for Canadian immigration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PEI Express Entry Category features two pathways to Canadian permanent residence, one for candidates with a job offer and one for those without.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Skilled Worker Stream<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
