Ontario immigration issued Notifications of Interest to 16 business candidates in a new Entrepreneur Stream<\/a> draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The December 2 Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program<\/a> draw required a minimum score of 118 points, nine lower than the previous draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the fourth Ontario Entrepreneur draw of 2019 and the first since September 20, when 15 candidates were invited with a minimum score of 127.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also the second since a raft of changes were introduced on July 8, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The changes included reducing net worth requirements from $1.5 million to $800,000 for businesses inside the GTA, and from $800,000 to $400,000 for those outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minimum investment requirement was also cut from $1 million to $600,000 for businesses inside the GTA, and from $500,000 to $200,000 for those outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Required business experience was reduced from 36 months within the last 60 to 24 months within the last 60.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
